so at the end, Harbour does kill himself? i thought that was what he was doing, but the more times i watched the movie i couldn't tell if he was simply taking his pills or if he was trying to kill himself.
shareHe does kill himself. He took alot of pills and turned it into powder, then he took it with alcohol.
He does commit suicide.
"Dont let it end like this... tell them I said something."
Which brings a little irony to the film. Him forever stopping his brother from killing himself only to end up doing the same thing himself.

Lipgloss, you should reduce the amount of aforementioned makeup, because apparently it affects your brain. How can you watch this movie several times (including the last scene where the family gathers at Harbours tombstone) and not get it that he is dead?? Seriously- I hope you were trying to be funny. LOL

He was just asking if Harbour committed suicide. It was clear and even included in the post that Harbour died.
And in the movie it's not extremely direct shown that it was suicide. I got it but that doesn't mean everyone would understand the scene.
So don't LOL around if you can't read...
