Question to all those who watched this film

Hey all
I'm interested in this film, but I need to know if this movie ends like a Nick Hornby book. In other words, in the end does Wilbur get cured of depression and try to stop killing himself cuz he fell in love? If this is the case, I won't be interested in this film.
Please let me know if the ending is cheesy or not.

You can proceed, this is not cheesy at all or at least not in the way you described.

It's a Danish movie. As a result, you know it's going to be boring.
