Did anyone else pick up on these? They were very subtle, nothing to stop your kids from watching, but they were there. The scene were Pepe was asking for his 'Christmas bonus' and Joan Cusack appointed his eyes to her breasts and said she'll give it to him. The male dance-coach who kissed Kermit on the cheek repeatedly and slapped him on the ass and said "nice touche". Did anyone find this weird? A kid would completely miss these points but as an adult I found it strange and questioned whether they were appropriate for this movie.

Also did anyone think most the actors (bar William H Macy) did a relatively bad job? They delivered their lines with no enthusiasm at all. Maybe I'm getting too old...

Hey, I just wanna know who the pig is. I managed to catch sight of him whilst channel surfing (Alien Boot Camp) and I laughed my behind off. All the innuendos were only mildly disconcerting (I mean, for all those griping, do they even REMEMBER the Electric Mayhem?). Pepe is only slightly sluttier than Rizzo was (remember him gawking at Brooke Shields in Muppets Take Manhattan?). The only gag that made me gag was Cage Dancer Scooter. That just seemed wrong on so many levels.

And is Robin even old enough to work at a bar ... even in an alternate universe?

yeah I noticed they've done stuff like that in the newer Muppets movies.
I don't really like it.

It's true - Muppets have had sexual inuendos since the very beginning. Jim Henson was a bit of a beatnik/hippy. He liked to push the envelope. For Pete's sake! The pilot episode of the original Muppet Show was called "Muppets: Sex and Violence".

The penguins are calling and I can't find my way out of the labyrinth.

I'm a babysitter and I brought this movie to the dudes house. They had a 12 year old, a 10 year old, and a 9 year old. When I put this on, they liked it. When that fat pig dancer squeezed Kermit's butt, the 12 year old was like "Homo!" And me and the other kids are laffin' like crap.

So kids can point out stuff to.
