Do bands have to give their permission to use there logos in a movie?
I was just wondering when looking at the t-shirts.
shareit depends on the logo, and it depends on the use.
generally it is a case of begging forgiveness than asking permission though.
depending on the movie, and the band, there can be a payment involved (much like doritio's, and pepsi products paid for their products to be placed in the movie), though i doubt the ramones paid to have their shirt on ford, more likely it was a case of them just doing it, and the ramones not trying to get anything out of it, or paying for it.
