The punkish police tech calls Robert Patrick's character "hot" in a "Jeremiah Johnson" kind of way. Have you seen Jeremiah Johnson (1972)? Redford plays a shaggy headed, scruffy bearded buckskin wearing mountain man. Patrick's character is clean shaven and short haired and wears a suede jacket. He nearly looks like he's on a weekend from a Wall Street job.
