I wonder if you could do an American version of this movie. Move the setting to New York City in the late 70s and have Momo befriend a Muslim bodega owner and go and visit the prostitutes in Times Square.

Its sounds kind of like Waterproof with Burt Reynolds. He plays an elderly Jewish grocery store owner who befriends an African American boy.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
