Am I the only one who was pleasantly surprised by this movie? Granted, I haven't seen the whole thing through yet (watching it now) and I don't know that Ali Lanter was the best choice, but I really liked Prem's and Raj's characters and the chick who befriends her.

Loved the film. The story was cute and fun and moved quickly. I could listen to Prem's voice all day long and all night long! I love many Bollywood movies. They are a welcome change from the Hollywood standard these days!

I found his voice to be anonying as hell lol
felt like he was "trying" too hard to make his voice sound american.

I got in on the middle of it and watched it to the end on TMC. It comes on again and I am going to record and watch the beginning. I think it's a pretty good movie. I love the Bollywood movies, the music, the clothes, dancing, scenery. This is a good one.

All I can say is I'm not Indian, and know little about Bollywood, but this movie is a total bore! Monsoon Wedding and Bride and Prejudice were infinitely better. Marigold may or may not be more authentic but it doesn't compare as a movie.

could become a cult classic. It is getting a lot of play recently on premium channels. It is refreshingly different.

Not Indian either but love Bollywood. This was pretty decent.

I thought it was very funny. It made fun of Bollywood films but in a nice way.

I didn't like it, but Salman Khan was a looker (I don't know this actor).

Usually I don't watch romance movies or Bollywood but I actually liked this and even stayed up to 3am to watch it. Not too many dudes would admit that. It wasn't corny or too over the top.

Yes, I liked it. I kept asking, "who's the American blonde?" Ali Larter, from my home-state of New Jersey (Cherry Hill).

Have to say I loved it!

Stayed up one morning 2am and only saw a portion so I recorded it. So glad I did!

Everyone is so beautiful! That Salman has charm...his voice! Ali Gorgeous! The costumes and colors, the music. I like it more each time.

I kept saying to myself, "Man, THAT hot blonde (Ali Larter) speaks very good Hindi!" It turns out, she was dubbed! I liked her dance moves!!
