Imdb most worse place

I have read many posts and read many reviews in imdb . I always feel disappointment here .I must says 90% of people are fake here . Most of the people here don't talk about what is good , what is bad in movie but they talk about skin colour, racism ,whether the actor should be white brown etc most of the time unworthy talk not at all related to movie .i am surporised actually that imdb is the largest movie database in world even then most of the people are worthless creatures here .Why all the crap of world is collected here Can some answer it a little technically or psychologically.

Your name "silly" really covers you well. You make one posting here and then try to play the martyr. If you can't have intelligent discussion and see how great IMDB really is, then maybe you shouldn't come around here and play with kids in another sandbox - come back when you grow up.

You've done some bad things, sweetie.

that sort of behavior is common in forums, it's not restricted
to only imdb, heh

Look, man, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions as long as they don't harm others. Free speech is a cherished right, and you should be glad that you and others around you have it, at least on here. You will naturally not always like what people say, because most people are not like you, and you are not like most people. It is not uncommon for IMDb message boards to have discussions pertaining to topics tangential to the movie. If someone wants to talk about race or color and let others know what they think, however controversial their beliefs are or however decadent or futile the discussion is, let them do it anyway. It is not unusual for movies to be gateways to increased understanding of issues. How boring would these message boards be if people only talked about how good or bad a movie is.

I love IMDB but they used to include a way to know if the movie was out on VHS, DVD or whatever. Why did they take that away? It happened a couple years or so ago when they did some kind of a "new look". Very disappointing. The older site was much more interesting.

Right on the money. A few weeks back, I asked a question and it was answered by two different people. I was astonished that they were both civil!

At least for us Americans, we're more emotional about the films we hate and love than we are about our pets, which is saying a lot. It's like, you hate the film I love and now you're my mortal enemy who doesn't deserve to live. Or, you love the film I hate and you're a bleepity bleep moron who should go jump off a bridge, etc. I remember years ago when imdb was relatively civil and you could actually talk about films without all the shriekage and one-up yell-fests. (Oh yeah? Well take that! No, you take that! Well I hate you! No, I hate you more! Expletive expletive! Bleh!)

I'll agree with you. Some of these critics are far from humble and they have high standards in their own mind.
