An almost great movie with a strong performance by Daniels!

shareFirst of all it was filmed in San Juan PR and used Puerto Ricans as actors. Think about that. Almost as bad as making a film in England about Africans.
That was a very poor movie with going through the motions acting and a script that was extremely difficult to understand. We were happy when it ended
We all see things differently, don't we? I thought the acting was extremely good and had no difficulty understanding the script. Enjoyed it so much that I've re-watched it several times.
I was surprised about how entertaining the movie was. I don't remember the movie being released to theatres, so I thought it would be another hokey TV movie but it wasn't. I like the socio-political angle.
Plus the 4 leads, Jeff Daniels, Clifton Collins Jr., Portia de Rossi & James Spader, could all act well which definitely helped.
I loved the scenes with the always eating business man and the kidnapping gang bangers as enforcers.
No two persons ever watch the same movie.share
always love jeff daniels & james spader, but the real pleasant surprise was clifton collins. i thought the chemistry between he & daniels worked really well. engaging film.
