@ the ending, did julienne swim across without a floating device? i thought she couldn't swim.
shareya my thoughts exactly. maybe she could swim but something happened and she was afraid to go in the water all the way. but then again she did say she couldn't swim and i dont think the water was shallow enough for her to walk across the whole way. but it did look like she was doing some paddling there.

shareIn real life this island can be walked to from shore. I grew up not far from it and in a few scenes you can see how shallow it actually is

shareI'm just impressed that she was able to get a punctured flotation device to hold up with band aids and it be strong enough to not leak carrying her, 20 ft of chain, and some bear traps.
And that is the LONGEST burning cigarette that I've ever seen. He lit the thing in the truck on the mainland, swam across the pond with it still lit, pulled his shirt off over his head with it still in his mouth, had a fight with her inside and outside the cabin, dropped it and it was STILL only 1/2 gone when she picked it up and burned him with it. Impressive!
