Lulu the Cat

I didn't like it a bit when the bitchy mother took the cat from her daughter and put it on the floor .. I thought that was particularly mean.
The little girl wanted to love a pet during those difficult times to help her cope with life , and she asks her mother if they can keep Lulu. How cruel and inconsiderate to take the cat and toss it on the floor. Twofold cruel: breaking a child.s sensitive heart, and cruel to the cat!

What a B!tch, I thought.

I cant forget this scene, it is still haunting me. I know its just a movie, but still it bothers me.

My daughter longed for a cat or a dog for years , she was fighting anorexia on and off for the past few years, and last summer we finally adopted a 10 week old orange tabby like Lulu. She fell in love with him when she volunteered at our local animal shelter. She asked me if she could bring him home. How can I say no! ever since we adopted this beautiful cat, my daughter.s world changed, she.s a happier teenager all things considered, and is cured of her body image issues.

The psychological power of an animal is not to be underestimated. They provide the best natural form of therapy.

Like you said ... it's just a movie. And that cat scene was pretty insignificant at that.
