Just saw this again....

...after seeing Dumb and Dumber 2. In and of itself, not as bad as some people make it out to be. While not original or groundbreaking, the supporting cast is pretty funny and play pretty good "straight men" to some of the crazy crap going on. Eric Olsen does a pretty good Jim Carey-doing-Lloyd. Luiz Guzman is great in about everything he's in and Mimi Rodgers is still pretty hot if you ask me! That kiss with the Jessica character...sweet!

Is it predictable and formulaic? Sure it is! Is it a Dumb movie? Yep, it's right there in the title people, what were you expecting? The original had a "poop joke" that stretched on for like 10 minutes remember? It's not deep, has no message and isn't meant to change the world or make you a better person for having seen it. It's about fun. So turn off your brain and succumb to your inner 12 year old, and don't listen to the haters.
