Not as bad as everyone says

I remember seeing the previews for this before it came out and just holding my face in my hands thinking "Wow. Another ruined childhood favorite." I hated it when I first saw it...

However, having said that, I rewatched it again recently. It's actually not as bad as I remember. The two lead actors playing Harry and Lloyd actually do a remarkable job of imitating Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, so you gotta give them credit. The Bob Saget scene in the bathroom is one of the funniest things ever put on film, I don't know if it's because we're so used to him be the friendly, good-natured, well-mannered Danny Tanner, but him screaming "He sh!t everywhere!!!! Look what he did, he sh!t all over the walls!" Even him at the dinner table was hilarious, "So, you like your butter, do ya? We got some margarine too you can just scoop it out of the tub." when Harry is just eating bars of butter.

If you didn't like this movie, I suggest you give it another watch. I laughed more than I thought I would this time. The first time I saw it I just sat there pissed off with a straight face (except the Bob Saget part) so I suggest you go into this with an open mind, instead of thinking "Man. This is going to suck donkey balls."

It certainly doesn't even compare to the original, it's not even in the same league of awesomeness. Even Dumb and Dumber To was great.

Dumb and Dumber - 10/10
Dumb and Dumberer When Harry Met Lloyd - 5/10
Dumb and Dumber To - 7.5/10
