I was always curious if this movie was canon but after seeing dumb and dumber to it's obvious the creators didn't want this movie to count since they made so many inconsistencies like Harry's parents being Asian.

Dumb and Dumber To wasn't exactly a classic either. I couldn't even finish it, maybe it got better at the end, I don't know.
