Bill Cosby's stand-up show

Remember how Chris Rock raves about Cosby's new stand-up show.. Has anyone seen it? Is there a chance to see it still (DVD, Internet)?

reply

I saw it live. Very good, not as edgy as Rock says in the movie though.

Bill Cosby did a show in my hometown about 2 years ago. I'm a big fan of his dvd titled "himself" which came out sometime in the 80's I think. Like Rock says in comedian the show was two and a half hours(no opening act or intermession) and the only bit I knew was the dentist bit which you can see on "himself". I have never laughed so hard at a stand- up performance in my life. The material was amazingly fresh as well( he did a lot of jokes about the town, crabcakes(the show was in maryland), and completly turned the tables on a heckler in the front row. If you get a chance to see him live, do. I can see why he's still inspring so many younger comedians.

I remember "Himself". That's where I learned my first curse word.
