What?!
My guess is that the director stole $4,999,999. then!
Seriously, this movie didn't cost $5,000,000.

I agree with you. This movie was so cheap looking there's no way they spent that much on it. When you factor in the gore make-up was pretty nonexistent and the no name cast, it just doesn't add up at all! Maybe it's just a misprint. I can see it costing 50,000 or possibly even 500,000 (even though this seems very unlikely), but no way 5 million!

Yeah or probably, the director and cast received the 5,000,000 budget but spent it on booze, prostitutes, drugs, etc. I don't know!

I say the budget was $5. This movie was just crap, not even a horror movie either. Very bad gore effects too.

Why do people have to lie about their budgets all the time saying it cost more tan it did? Do they think peopke are gonna think they'rer less of a filmmaker if the budget is low?

Alright children...time to break *beep* down for you when it comes to film budgets. Say you spend 30,000 making you're little independent movie and you go to sell it to distributors. Now, every distributor is out to *beep* you...you just have to find the one willing to use the most lube. Alright, so if you make it public knowledge that the movie, lets say, cost you 300,000 to make, then a possible distributor will say...well you spent 300,000...I'll give you 50,000. Looky there, you just made a 20,000 dollar profit and the distributor thinks he's screwed you over. And that is why small movies lie about their budgets.
