Suburban Nightmare Vs. Natural Born Killers

I watched both of these movies last night. "N.B.K." first and "Suburan Nightmare" directly afterwards. And I started thnking about something. Does anyone else, who's seen both of these films, think that Charles and Deborah Rosenblad could be Micky and Mallory Knox later in life? I mean, after all the heat died down about their excape. Both couples are alike in a lot of ways. And, they even torture and kill their victims in some of the same ways. Maybe it's just me. I just wanted to see if anyone else thought about this.
