Why were Seann William Scott's agents were reluctant to show the script?

Where did you take that they were (are) reluctant? that they are in authority to do it in the first place? Why agents of other actors are not? Are you sure all that is not just a rumor if not only an hypothesis in your own head?

No idea... the OP is referring to the trivia part of IMDB that mentions that SWS' agents were reluctant to show him the script but it turns out they were wrong. Maybe they just felt that ANOTHER American Pie movie would be bad?
