I also had a recent marathon of sorts, though spread over a few weeks and slightly out of order. For me it was revisiting old friends, except for 4 which was my first viewing. 1 I still hold up as a classic of the genre. 2 is about as good a sequel as you could hope for, and felt like the natural next step. 3 wasn't quite as good as I remembered. It's got just as many laugh out loud moments, but it became a bit too Stifler-centric for its own good. 4 was a pleasant surprise, recapturing much of what I've always loved about the series.

I'd rank them 1-4-2-3.
