MILF Guys but No Oz?!
They brought back two minor characters but left out
One of the franchise's central characters?! Even worse, they didn't even mention him. Like he never
existed. I know they didn't think fans wouldn't notice.

That subject has been discussed many times, you didn't look very hard. Anyhow, the official reason are that the actor was making another movie, in England, at that time (and, in fact, since his character has been demoted in AP2, a rumor is that the actor has simply turned down an initial offer to be in AW). As far as not being mentionned, well, he was, but in a scene that has been cut out of the theatrical version.
shareTo be honest, I did look hard and I know it's been discussed many times but I don't like how they didn't make a REAL effort to bring back Chris Klein (Oz) but they were willing to bring back the MILF Guys John and Justin with no problem. There was NO mention of any major characters who didnt appear: Vicky, Jessica, Heather, Sherminator and as I mentioned before, OZ, the most critical of them all. The only person they mentioned was Nadia, who I felt should've been in it as a temptation and a fork-in-the-road (no pun intended) for Jim as he can't decide if he wants her or Michelle.
They say there was no "interesting plots" for those characters, I see plenty. The girls could've been bridesmaids, Oz should've been a groomsmen along with the others. I think it would've been a nice touch if Stifler had been the official Best Man as a reward for getting new flowers after he killed them.

Yeah, Nadia coming back as a pre-wedding 'temptation' is a no-brainer. Also, agreed that Oz should have at least been mentioned.
shareWhy would Vicki, Jessica, Heather and Nadia be bridesmaids? They really didn't know Michelle too well if at all. Same with Sherman, the guys really weren't friends with him. Jim didn't even want Stifler to attend. That being said, you do bring up a good point, if OZ wasn't in the movie I saw no reason to have the MILF guys in there, however if you watch American Reunion I believe Oz says why he wasn't at the wedding.
shareIn a deleted scene it was mentioned that Oz and Heather were traveling in Europe which explained his absence. I think Chris Klein actually wanted to return but felt that the movie didn't give his character enough to do in the script version. In the case of Vicki, Jessica, and Heather it didn't make sense for them to be there since Heather would have been there only because of Oz. I think it would have been funny if Nadia and Sherman made a surprise appearance at the wedding and are happily together.
