hate the character Teletha Testarossa?
I cannot stand her, any scene she is in just makes me rage.
Who keeps writing military commanders who don't understand chain of command or who are unwilling to make tough decisions?
Isn't she supposed to be a teenager herself?

She's between 16 and 19 I think, but so is the boy that protects that girl ( forget their names), but I have no issue with his age.
shareShe's the same age as Sousuke and the same age as Kaname. Kaname and Tessa share the same birthday.
I like Tessa. She's funny and smart. Actually, I like mostly all of the characters. I didn't even dislike Gauron. He was kind of funny.
So, is it just that you don't like the way she commands or you just don't like her personality?
I find her tendency to get all buddy buddy with her subordinates really annoying, as well as her habit of letting everyone know when she questions herself.
shareHmm. I don't think that she "generally" oversteps the lines when it comes to her subordinates.
Mind you, I do not support her attempts to win over Sousuke, but at the same time I think she's a good captain. Most of her decisions have turned out right.
The only time I was really upset with her was when she told Sousuke that he's self-centered and insincere. Sousuke might be other things, but he's not a fraud or a liar. Tessa really angered me when she accused Sousuke of being those things. And so what if for once in his life he was concentrating on his own feelings? I mean, he always followed orders and for the first time in his life he was finally beginning to question those orders. The guy had finally found another reason (Kaname Chidori) to live besides living to follow orders. He probably didn't realize it at the time, but by the end of the second raid, I'm sure he knew it.
She's too friendly with them, it's really annoying.
