Question about the Sohmas

I know Kana is from the same family as Hatori, so why when she hugged him, he turend into the seahorse, when Kagura said that if the sohmas hug each other they don't transform.

Also if Sohma's choices are very limited due to their zoidac condition, why does Akito destory everyboydy's happiness like with Kana and Hatori (same family) Kisa and Hiro (same family) it's not like, they can hug anyone else or be in a romantic relationship since they turn into animals everytime. Why does Akito object?

Akito is just messed in the head. Its a little more evident in the manga...freaking psycho.

Why do people jump the gun? Sure, she/he isn't a very pleasant character to begin with, but everything has a source. Calling someone, even if it's just a character in a story, freaking psycho is a bit much. A practice that can translate into real life.

I just don't understand this quick summation. Just because someone (thing or otherwise) is hard to comprehend - doesn't mean jump the gun quick.

girls with the curse etc wont change .. kana isnt cursed so he changed when they hugged even know they are from the same family

Hatori and Kana's relationship was ruined by Akito, because Akito wants everyone miserable since he's miserable knowing he's going to die at an early age.
