Ok, why did they completely twist the storyline? It was James who was the adulterer, not Claire! The story is practically the opposite and I don't understand! Even the surname is wrong - it should be Walsh!
Apologies for my rant, but I'm such an avid fan of the book!
Yeh, it is confusing cause it's so backwards to the book,even the whole starting out with adam, ending up with james part, but i have to say, i much prefer the film, i was really, really disappointed with the book. not impressed at all!!

shareI hated the film. The book was way better and I wonder why Marian gave her consent for them to change the story so much. Sorry to Anna Friel fans but she just annoys me and she couldn't get a Dublin accent any more than Tom Cruise got a country Irish one in Far and Away.
I hear they're going to make Rachel's Holiday into a film. They better not mess this one up.
