What happens to patti

A very pregnant Patti goes to see Frances, tells her that her gf left her(wasn't ready to be a mother), then has the baby in Italy.. Patti is never shown leaving, so its assumed that she decides to stay in Tuscany as well..

She is still living with Fran I guess. The movie never makes it clear what she does for a living even. In real life, one would hope she came to Italy with a wad of cash to help out with the household expenses and pay for her own child.
