What fiction|nonfic books like UtTS do you want to see film adapted ?

After the crapfest of 2010's 'Eat Pray Love' film, irrespective whether you loved UtTS or were disappointed by it, what other fiction|nonfiction books you've read and greatly admire, would you love seeing get film adapted, as you consider its story, premise and characters to be equally, or even more interesting than the UtTS film's story. Please elaborate on the fiction or nonfic book's story, premise and characters and why you admire it.
