I personally liked this movie very much

I bought the DVD just a while ago and watched this movie earlier today. I personally liked this movie very much! It was historically accurate and I felt it was easy to watch and follow.

But I'm not so sure if that's the case with non-Finnish viewers who are not as familiar with this composer and Finnish history beforehand.

And this is of course after reading numerous mediocre reviews about this movie so my expectations were low when I began watching. But I was positively surprised how good this film actually was.

I certainly recommend this movie if you are a fan of Sibelius - otherwise you are not going to get much out this one.
