So I rewatched the movie now like 4 years after I first watched it and it still bothers me why Kazama is in the toilet. I'm not too sure, but I think it is because Kazama is lonely. Kazama has no friends or family and fights for himself. He goes in the toilet, because he has no one outside of that bathroom before the tournament starts. After the tournament all he does is practice and play ping pong. And Demon cries after talking to Kazama near the end in the bathroom and cries because Demon sympathizes with Kazama's loneliness? I'm not too sure about that. But anyways I just would like to know if this is right or what are your thoughts about Kazama's pre-tournament bathroom break?

Also I think we would never know whether or not Peco or Smile is the better ping pong player.

hmmm good observation. im not sure myself to why Kazama stays in a bathroom stall before the tournament. yea, maybe he's lonely and could be staying there to focus/concentrate. but i did find that scene kind of funny in a way.

i can't decide who's better. Peco's agressive and active. But Smile has his "techniques" and has great potential.

That part of the movie wasn't fully explained, I guess to leave it open to interpretation. As was who was the superior player in the end, Smile or Peco.
