Loved this movie!

Each year in Rimouski, we have the chance to assist to an International Children's movies Festival, which is called le Carroussel international du film.
This year, I saw "Retour à Mombasa" (french title for Menolippu Mombasaan) and I found it pretty good.
Maybe the scenario is a little bit simple and naive, but It reaches the goal of making us feel better in every way. Wonderful.

I liked this movie too :) I agree, it's a bit naive but still a nice film.

Lovely movie.
Picked it up very cheap at the local rent-a-movie-for-a-buck-place and both me and my sisters loved it.

They've been singing the theme ever since, it's a nice plot, but as the OP say about the scenario, maybe a bit simple and naive, but yeah... It works.

Made me cry a couple of times.

Lovely movie indeed.
