Problems with the kidnap scene

I roll my eyes at the dog park when some idiot is screaming his dog's name over and over when what he means is "Come" or "Drop it" or "NO! [Don't pee on that little girl!]" No mindreaders here, bub.

Creasy yelling out "Pita! Pita! Pita!" was equally ineffective. Yeah, yeah, I got the reference to her being frozen until he gave her the ol' starter pistol release, but since anyone in the world would freeze after stepping outside and hearing someone screaming his name, maybe Creasy could have squeezed out another helpful word or two, like "Back inside! Lock the door!"

And for that matter, it's farfetched that they wouldn't have discussed or rehearsed her moves in the first place. Creasy sees the benefit of instilling an automatic response for the swimming pool, but not for a couple of standard kidnapping scenarios? She was mature enough to learn "if you get the chance, run like hell for a busy street and don't look back" or whatever.

My favorite part of Taken is that the father doesn't waste precious seconds telling her how much daddy loves her. I'm thinking the Creasy character would have had the same presence of mind, ergo poor writing.
