Third most brilliant comedy ever.

I have no idea why this movie is ranked so low. I suppose people are offended by it... how I have no idea. It's a great reversal of Hollywood stereotypes, well paced and timely punchlines.

Yes....I agree...terribly underrated. Sophomoric, yes-- but lots and lots of comic genius.

And here is an idea for a sequel-- have B-rad's father become too sick to remain in office, and have B-rad run to replace him, in a special election, :-)

reply

hmmm....that could be funny....

or another idea : B-rad has to try and save his father's administration when a political opponent cooks up a fake scandal against him. That could be funny. He could call in some of the guys from the 'hood to help etc.

...unfortunately there's no way they'd make a sequel to this. It's too bad because it's such an awesome overlooked movie.

This movie is awesome !!! I didn't see it until about 4 or 5 years ago because it's never gotten any kind of praise by anybody. I think I saw the preview for it when it came out and it just blew it off because it looked stupid as hell.

But it's not stupid. It's actually got some slightly clever comedy in it. The idea that a rich whiteboy who was raised by a black nanny is actually more ghetto than two other very white black actors is funny as hell. There's so many lines I could quote.

I have recommended it to so many people and all of them have loved it. They all blew it off when it came out for the same reason I did.

I AGREE!! I'm watching it right now. Its so funny and Tate Diggs and Anthony Anderson are absolute gold in this movie.

This ain't no picnic b-tch, be cool blood bath.

Great movie. Anthony Anderson and Taye Diggs were excellent in this.

I got to cut him!!!

One of my favorites as well. I woke up to it this morning, and after only a couple hours of sleep, B-rad managed to wake me up smiling. Jamie Kennedy kills me in this, he did a great job. And Eight ball? Between this movie and White Chicks, yeah, I'm more than a bit of a fan of Terry Crews.

This movie is on par with White Chicks, if you ask me. I don't know why it never became more popular.

I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves.

Yeah especially since this movie came out when eminem was at the peak of his fame. I liked eminem before his rap started sounding really generic, but it was really irritating seeing half the white kids in my middle school acting and dressing all ghetto. It's like bro, you're white...and that's cooool, man.
