Did anyone else automatically think of Lars and the Real Girl when watching this? I guess the only difference is the blood content...

More like I thought of THIS movie when I saw Lars and the Real Girl. Ha ha, probably since I saw this movie first.

I sat there thinking, "Hmmm...Lars is like the nice version of Kenneth."

Exactly. When I finally got a chance to see Lars, I also re-rented Love Object so I could have a "lonely guy gets obsessed with a sex doll and thinks she's alive" double feature.
