How do you make up for terrible acting?

DO NOT do it by grossing out your audience with poorly done, over the top, and just plane pathetic horror scenes.

Probably the most juvenile (and gross) horror flick to date. Usually when a film is this bad they try to make it into a comedy... This director needs to be fired, ASAP!!! Pure hollyweird crap.

Go watch Spiderman 2 again, loser. Hollywierd? KOTA is a thiller, a shocking, engrossing movie. If you judge every movie you watch by special effects and acting, you have no place here. Some of the most ground breaking horror movies had terrible acting, Evil Dead anyone? 60's Night of the Living Dead?

wooooah, death by stereo

Ground Breaking! Yes, that's key. This movie is the springboard to launch Stuart's career forward. HOW DO YOU MAKE UP FOR TERRIBLE ACTING? Hire great actors! Like, mmm, William H Macy? Joe Mantegna? Julia Stiles? Denise Richards? He did that, and because of the success of KOTA (dig the acyronym) it pushed him into a bigger budget and now, as I understand it, he is one of the Masters Of Horror directors on a Showtime mini-series on top of his new film, soon to be released, Edmond...from the mind of writer David Mamet! mmm... Fire this guy? I THINK KNOT!!

whooooo hoooooh, dead leaf falling

I disagree, this was a dark, disturbing, and engrossing film. I thought the lead did a good job acting, and the rest of the cast was solid.
