Best album?

i think their most accesible album is summerteeth, but their best album is definately yankee hotel foxtrot, it's just so cohesive and unique, i love it. also a ghost is born is great. i'm not sure about singles but some great songs that will get you into wilco are theologians, hummingbird, kamera, jesus etc, i'm always in love, she's a jar, wishful thinking and poor places. my fav song of theirs is pot kettle black.

I believe that Summerteeth and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot are their two best albums, by far. Don't buy A Ghost is Born first, because it is an acquired taste.

It's not a "Wilco" album per se, but it has more of the original band in it than the last three albums. Anodyne has Jay Farrar writing a little more than half the songs and Tweedy writing and singing lead on the other half. That album changed my whole perspective on music, and got me to love an entirely new genre I call "Americana". I wish they had made a couple of more like this one before they went their separate ways.
