anyone know the name of that one? its when they cover jay leaving and the band is all walking around aimlessly

"My Darling" off the album Summerteeth

Does anyone have an opinion whether or not the Jay Bennet version off his solo album is better than the version off the Summerteeth album? Or are they the same?

Beautiful song :) Does anyone happen to know if he is singing about his own child? Jeff's is the only family we actually get to see in the movie.

Jay Bennett wrote My Darling for his niece. At least that's what I've heard/read

Thanks for the info. There was no mention of surviving family members in his obits.

I don't believe he had a family of his own. As in, I don't believe he was a father or married. So he's not survived by anyone, technically. Isn't that usually what they write in obits?

Yeah, I know what you mean. His family did issue a statement thanking everyone for their support, so I'm guessing that was his parents/siblings. I'm sure he was loved :)
