I found this story an interesting read, quite different from most of the stories out there that you could finish yourself a tenth of the way through the movie (predictable). This was a refreshing drama.

Quietly touching. I prefer war movies that focus on humanity over brutality.It reminds viewers the meaning of the institutions and societies we create--it's grounding.
shareGreat point....people often forget that the 'message' of wars, torture and imprisonment (if there can be any message) are not just the scars and devastation they leave, but how certain individuals can rise to overcome the very ashes wars etc create.
It was very touching and I truly was moved by it!
