The bit where he smashes the beer bottle is the worst, most pointless scene in the history of cinema.
I want to take a baseball bat to all of their heads it's so bad.

What a waste of 87 minutes of my life.
I didnt think it was very good either
no story- no point=- and I thought the soviet analysis o n the commentary track was a big put on, somebody doing a a fake russian accent as a joke
I loved it, and that was after reading all of these negative reviews. It seems as though people like myself who really enjoyed the characters and feel of the film haven't commented on the board, and have just voted it nicely.
I can't get enough of the recent string of mumblecore films.

I liked it as well.
2nd viewing even more so - I caught it only half way through on the first viewing so now I feel I got so much more from it!
Excellent play-offs. So much social discomfort.

I agree, but it did show how inept the guy was; He couldn't hold his drink. He asked Marnie out in such a painfully awkward way beforehand, showing how useless most guys are at asking girls out.
