I disagree on some points. You cannot compare The Dark Knight franchise to Catwoman. You are talking about two totally different movies with different tones and plus female led action movies were being made before this and some were successful (Tomb Raider comes to mind).
Catwoman is not that good of a movie but I found it entertaining in campy, old school Batman sort of way. It's not in the Movie 43 league of awfulness. share
