Brilliant Art Film That Went Over Audiences' Heads

Catwoman is an extremely sophisticated high brow art film that simply went over everyone's heads. Look at the stellar all star cast for proof of that. The Director, Pitof, is European (French) which automatically tells you he is more sophisticated and art-minded than mere Hollywood types. Catwoman was just too good for average audiences to comprehend. It is the kind of film that demands to be interpreted by reading between the lines. An art film like Catwoman should never be taken at face value. Anyone who dismisses Catwoman needs to take a look in the mirror and ask whether they are smart enough to watch it critically.

I think you are barking up the wrong tree to even say this is a extremely sophisticated high brow art film. I mean the acrobatics are terrible, the plot is thin, beauty cream scandal?! Come on. This film had a 100m budget and it looks like they wasted a whole lot of it. So Anyone who thinks this movie is great can't be the smartest person on the planet seeing as it doesn't take a genius to see how this movie was pretty horrible all together.

The colors, the constantly moving camera, the extensive use of wide angle lenses. An homage to the greatness of "Cool as Ice" and other first-time director films. It's genius really to craft a film as if it were a professionally budgeted college film. Stunning.

How can you say that? This movie was a mindless hollywood shallow attampt to cash in on sex appeal. I watched very little of this movie but what I have seen is absolutely terrible. From the bland environments to the ugliest Catwoman character ever. They even made a terrible video game based on this monstrosity of a film so people who think this Movie is stunning must be absolutely brain dead.

Perhaps you missed the joke?

The joke of the review. I think sami-18 was being sarcastic.

What he wrote didn't sound like the user was being sarcastic.

No, it was a pathetically juvenile attempt at confusing sarcasm with humor. However, if we look at the OP as being a typical middle-school
Class Clown wannabe, then it IS funny, but what there is of a joke is on the very limited OP.

It’s so rare to find real wit on the internet, but so common to find half-wit.

Batman The Movie (1966) was a brilliant art film. This is what you call a bomb.
