When Phileas shows his lab, w/ the electric lights, to Passeportout, he mentions Thomas Edison. This is supposed to take place in 1872, yet Edison didn't invent his first working lamp until 1879. Also, we see a bulb poster in France.

Except the movie takes place in 1890.
