worst film ever made

Around the world in eighty days has just had its network premier on channel 4.with nothing better on I sat through it. now I want to kill my self, after I have hunted down everyone involved in its making it(not Jackie or Samo they would tear me a new one)how could so much money be thrown at a fantastic story and make such a hash.I mean Cynthia Rothrock made better films.......I feel dirty just saying that! glad I didnt waste my money going to the cinema or blockbuster.truly truly awful even the song at the end made me want punch my pregnant wife(but she would tear me a new one)

reply

lol,i know what you mean,i just did the same thing and it felt like someones just tore me a new one!!!!

I thought it was OK, acting was good but was a bit silly but then again I suppose it was aimed at children

reply

Ahem... Might I refer you to the utterly inept, pointlessly long-winded Vanilla Sky?
But yeah this crap. Looks like it was filmed for twelve bucks and the producers resented ten of them.

was so boring I didn't even bother finishing it

Sorry to rock the boat, but I just finished watching it and loved it. Light hearted, leave your mind at the door, sit back and enjoy, pure unadulterated whimsey! Just my sort of film - as she who must obeyed says it was light and frothy!

I agree. I loved the book. I liked the classic David Niven movie, I liked the Brosnan/Idle mini series - and I like this new version. All for different reasons.

As a reviewer has already stated: this is not a faithful adaptation, and it's not supposed to be taken seriously. Turn off your brain and enjoy it for the stunts, the tongue firmly in cheek, and all the weird cameos: Arnie as a king straight out of Arabian Nights, Rob Schneider - and of course Kathy Bates as Queen Victoria(!).

A no-brain fun romp...

I really liked Magroium! It wasn't going for the easy childish jokes like this one. It was fun and colorful and G-Rated: reminded me of the types of kids movies I was into when 5 or 6.

Better to be toothless than obese with an IQ of 12 I say...

You need to watch some late night movies on Zonehorror to see the worst films ever made. Your comments come across as less of an opinion and more as the rantings of a teenager.

The worse film? Not by any chance.

I think you're people are just being over critical of the film. There's some great actions and comedy in them. As stated by some others above me, it's sort of a light hearted movie that's not to be taken too seriously.

No (serious) violence, no sex and you'll have most people moaning a movie is rubbish. That's the way how things are I guess. 8/10.

reply

I agree that it was awful, but Cecile de France was soooooooooo beautiful.

You can't have seen many Cynthia Rothrock films if you think this is the worst film ever made, I actually thought it was quite good.

Even if you hate Uwe Boll, give Postal a try, be offended or entertained.
