Please tell me...

Why don't people love this movie? I saw it last night for the third time and loved every minute, it's just so funny! You have to admit it takes a lot more talent to make people laugh as loud and as frequently as I did watching this film, than it does for something that uses bad language.

I thought one could not have asked for a more convincing actor as Mr Fog, everyone is well cast, maybe that French girl was a bit annoying at times but she was mostly good. And at times I even wonder if Jackie Chan was involved in writing the film, his sense of humour is greatly embraced.

It's the posters, isn't it? The posters weren't good enough and that's why the movie failed at the box office.

It's really corny, not everyone finds it funny, it's too silly a lot of the time, villains are one-note. It's also a remake of an adaptation of a book so it's got comparisons to the 50s version (which won best picture) and the Jules Verne novel stacked against it.
