Didn't Kevin Pollack's character die at the end of the first movie? If so, how is he in this one?

If you still want to know - Kevin Pollack plays a different character in the sequel. In the first film, he played Janni (who was killed at the end). In the second film, he played Lazlo (Janni's father).
