Am I really one of the only people...? (Spoiler)

Who liked this movie?

I thought it was so good. And the last scene just made me so happy I watched this movie.
I really like the last scene because so much happy news all in one scene, and the background music was just right to make the moment feel great... And to see those four just huddled into the car... achieving their share of the $280 million and their upcoming children made the movie feel completed.

The comedy, to me, was so much better than the original. Matthew Perry jumping around killing chickens and being so helpless, but yet... still being one of the major roles in the plot... made the movie much better.

Kevin Pollak did an excellent job as well, having funny lines and pronouncing words completely wrong. His gang (including his mother) were also quite funny. I thought it was a good crew which constantly made me laugh.

And I have NO clue how you guys think the first movie was better... I really enjoyed the contrasting settings, which made me feel as if I should watch it again.

The movie definately did a better job taking it a step further... in my opinion. I was actually thinking of not watching it because of all the bad comments, but I'm so glad I watched it...

(Err, I made this sound as a review)

I liked this movie as well. Not as good as the first one, but good nonetheless.

I enjoyed this movie, although the first time I watched it, I only saw the second half, and hadn't seen the first movie. Having now seen the first half and The Whole Nine Yards (and thus being able to follow the plot better), I have to say that the movie only really starts to move once Strabo is kidnapped. The first half just felt weird, whereas the actors seemed to be having more fun in the second half.

I love this film too, I liked the first one but this is my fav out of the two.

I like it too! I dont understand why all the talk about laslo's overdone accent, I think the was a brilliant detail from the actor. To play the character over the top, almost a goofy gangster that nevertheless will put a bullet in your head. Laslo's brother was hilarious too. The motel room bit, great!

Kevin Pollak is a genius...

Wow,

The movie I saw was a total mess. Screechy and inane really sums it up for me. I'm all about dumb feel-good comedy but I thought this movie was almost unwatchable. A very unneccessary sequel to a marginal, at best, origional. As a side not I used to be a big Kevin Pollack fan. I paid $25 bucks to see him live and loved the show. Paid another $25 bucks 2 years later to see him again. Same act word for word. Weak, dude.

i totally agree. the movie was brilliant. kevin pollak totally rocked. i've just seen it again, hence the movie is fresh in my head. and admittedly, the twist at the end was weak and pointless, but that doesn't take away from pollak's raves, 'now where the FOOK did those *beep* get to now.' and smacking strabo every time he corrected him.
and bruce willis in pink bunny slippers!!! matthew perry - 'why does my ass hurt' bruce willis - ' cos you fell down the stairs'
who else waits ten minutes for the punchline when matthew perry goes outside and realised there's no stairs in sight - AWESOME!!!!.
but truly brilliant. as was said, 'it was a piece of pie.'

i am not going to be the first to jump out and say this was a masterpeice...but i enjoyed it! What category do you put this movie in....comedy.....was it funny? YES!!! Was it entertaining? YES!!! I don't understand why the rating is so low...this was a funny movie with funny charcters that accomplished its mission in making me laugh just enough to keep me interested for the time it took to finish.

Why do they call him the bullet dodger? Because he..dodges...bullets..Avi?!?!

It certainly had good bits, but every time I saw Matthew Perry make some utterly pathetic attempt at physical comedy it wiped at least three actually funny parts out of my mind. Falling down is not funny.

Make no mistake. Physical comedy is very hard to pull off, and I have great respect for those who can do it: Rowan Atkinson, Buster Keaton, Jackie Chan. Matthew Perry simply can't. Making him try to force it just makes it even worse.

I was very disappointed the first time I saw it, what with it being so ridiculous and all. It certainly doesn't come close to The Whole 9 but after watching it again I found Matthew Perry was effing hilarious. His performance is the only reason I can even stand the movie.

I think Matthew Perry was a lot funnier in the first one. The first one overall is probably better. This movie is still funny though. The drunken scene where Bruce gets mad at the pyramid of shot glasses cracked me up. And the "falling down the stairs" thing was hilarious too. One of my fav scenes is in the first one where Matthew Perry and Michael Clarke Duncan walk into the hotel room, see Bruce Willis, Matt runs back and slams into MCD getting knocked over. Cracked me up!!

Really? I disagree entirely.

He has the nervously-bumping-into-things act DOWN PAT. It's partly funny because -- well, because he pulls it off so well.
The other reason it's funny is because of how close it comes to reality.

I have done those EXACT types of movements when I was really nervous, bumped into something, then quickly tried to position it back properly while having a horribly thin facade of calm that fooled no one.

I don't laugh at slapstick the way I do when I see HIM stumbling all over himself.

I loved it bro, admittedly I don't think it was quite as good as the first but it's still hilarious and I rent it from time to time just to blow a couple hours with some funny people.

reply

i completely agree lol; this one was so good as first one.
Mathew perry was so good, and i loved this movie for him almost. Bruce willis did wonderful nut job.
LaZLO- wow, with dialogue delivery, body language, mistakes -rocked.

Strabo was brilliantly funny too (asking jill for sex')
ANd lazlo's mother ultimatum (the final scene where credits rolling up, she farts and lazlo asked to put bullet in his head)-i laughed jumping in my chair. that was very funny.

The "whole" ten yards cast rocks..!!!!!
