if you have seen both of them read this

I haven't seen the first one in a long time, but it was really good. Very funny, in a goofy kind of way, the kind of movie I could watch once a month. I'm watching the second one right now, & I have to say if I'd seen it first, It would have ruined the first one for me. I'm really not impressed with the second one at all. It's the kind of movie that makes you wonder what happened to the writers! It's ok, I give it a 5/10, if not a 4/10.

yeah you kinda do have to see the first one....theres people from the first movie you have to know about to understand who the 'relatives' are in the second....but in saying that, they explain every detail in this movie so you could still follow it and understand....but see the first, its much better

You do have to see the first one to know what's going on but as others have said don't bother watching the 2nd. It's awful. definitely watch the first one though cause its classic

This one ruins the ending for the first one. So although you will understand this movie without the first one, if you see this one first, it will ruin the first, so I would say if you're going to watch them both, watch them in order, or watch only this one.
