Does anyone know if Uncle Nino, will be shown nationally, not just at a few selected theaters around the US? I'd love to see at my local art theater, but I don't want to give my hopes up if there isn't a chance of it.
Went to see it Sunday, Feb. 13th in New Jersey. I was interested in it after hearing about it's localized success in Grand Rapids, MI. In my opinion, it should find enough of an audience to open nationally here eventually.
It's a nice little film. I utterly fail to understand all the fans and critics bashing it for being too simplistic or sappy sweet. It plays shamelessly to concepts of family and being a good person, but really is that so bad?
