they took a thriller and made a comedy, lame

The original was great. This is like a comedy remake, and it destroys the creepy original that is a classic horror thriller. That's my opinion anyway. This isn't a remake. This is like taking an idea and morphing it into a completely new movie. You can't make a suspense/horror/thriller into a comedic joke without destroying it. I'd hardly this a remake... it's nothing at all like the original. This is more like some comedy fan fiction.
