Why no black people?

Or any other minority in town? Was that done on purpose?

This is the end

reply

Who knows. The whole thing was a mess and as one poster wrote "a train wreck of a movie." I guess the writers were too busy getting it all wrong to get some of it right. The only smart thing they did was to delete the scene with Midler. I wonder if it won a Razzy award.

I think it was done on purpose because it took place in Connecticut. And Bobby even makes a point to that the Fourth of July picnic.

There were Jewish and Asian people in Stepford.

reply

But were they invited into THAT club?

Why does it matter? 

reply

yea, it's called greenwich! LOL

reply

Actually, yes. I travel a lot and there are tons of places that don't have any blacks. Keep in mind the percentage of black people in the U.S. is roughly 13%.

reply

I also think it does not matter. The movie was a disaster from start to finish.

reply

i saw one black lady during the clair-exercise bit, but i never saw any other POC.....

It's mercy, compassion and forgiveness I lack. Not rationality...

reply

I seen one black girl in the beginning during the workout session. Actually it looked like their were two because another one looked either biracial or latina.

reply

I live in CT, there are plenty of black people here

reply

They should be punished by being in this movie, also!!

reply

In the book there was a minority couple but at the very end.
