The filmmakers artsitic expression and vision

Besides the production values, which are obvious low/no budget, I don't see what most here find so awful about this film. This is an art film. But, I'm curious to know, if this is so awful, what kept you watching? I'm well known by my friends to walk out of theatres within the first ten minutes. If I don't like what I see, I'd want my money back. I won't sit through a film I don't like to torture myself or waste my time. However, most who hated it and commented here saw the whole film through and still bashed it? Just an observation.
