opening song not available on the soundtrack??

great opening sequence, where james franco explains all the history we need to know before the main part of the movie starts. very emotional, great war footage, great editing, GREAT SONG, which apparently is not on the soundtrack CD. why do they always do this?? raiders of the lost ark, all the star wars movies, thin red line, etc etc etc etc....they do one of three things:

1.) redo most or all of the music in abridged watered-down versions and release it...so basically none of the songs on the CD were actually in the movie

2.) for the most part, put the actual songs from the movie on the soundtrack CD but omit one or two of the best ones completely

3.) everything i said in 1...then decades later release the actual music (the end result being that you have to buy both CDs and also wait around like an idiot)

if anyone knows where i can get the opening song please let me know. i ripped the sound from the DVD but i’d like a version without the voiceover
