Why did this movie end like this? So did Danny Glovers character go crazy to where he couldn't work anymore? So many unanswered questions. I would have also liked more focus on Moniques character and her growing friendship with Whoopi.
I thought it ended badly too. We dont know if he flipped his lid permanently or not. What was also strange was to see how Monique treated Whoopi earlier in the movie and now we see her coming to Whoopi's house asking her if she wants to buy detergent and acting friendly? What a stupid scene. The largest lottery winner to date, is now selling detergent door to door even though she still has all her millions. Her and whoopi could have met much earlier in the movie and watching Monique turn Whoopi around would have been fun to watch.
That's the point. Mo'nique's character was rather ignorant. She won the lottery and dwindled her money away overindulging. Now she's broke. How could you not get that?
